Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare\'s curriculum in a way that aligns with the individual needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support center success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multi-task
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
• Bachelor\'s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and to work indoors or outdoors
• Able to engage with children at appropriate levels of activity and communication in English
