This position is paid hourly. Allocated for 15 hours/week, as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The Auditorium Manager attends all activities and be availalble for school functions. This position requires evening and weekend hours for scheduled events. Flexible Schedule, primarily in the PM. Coordinate with school/district leadership on scheduling of groups in the auditorium. Meet with leadership of incoming organizations to discuss expectations regarding use of the building prior to first rehearsal and/or event. Sign Use agreement. Schedule second meeting with organization leadership to set/program lighting for show. Arrive 30 minutes prior to the organizations arrival to open up the building. Monitor use of all participants during rehearsals. Close and secure auditorium and main entrances of the building after participants have left the auditorium. Maintain stage lights as needed (replace bulbs, reset placement/throw of lights). Program all lighting and sound for each show. Run lighting and/or sound for all events. Perform minor maintenance in the auditorium or schedule repairs as needed. Willing to learn about sound and light systems. Communication with groups. Basic technology skills.
