About this position:

Evening Server: Expected Shifts 4:30pm until close (typically around 10:30pm) 10 to 15 hours weekly, ideal for student of similar availability Servers at Gold Bison Grill take orders, deliver food and drinks, and be part of our restaurant team in providing every guest a welcoming, comfortable, and delicious dining experience This is ideal for students, as a second job, or as a position for someone looking to begin as a server or take their profession to the next level Reliable attendance is crucial to provide top-notch service to our valued guests Servers may have opportunity to cross-train as bartenders based on business need, performance, position tenure, and past work experience Evening Servers are essential for serving happy hour and dinner items from our menu, with frequent updated specials to keep any mouth watering It only takes a few minutes to apply!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Inform guests about menu items, specials, and other information to enhance the dining experience Answer guest questions and respond to guest requests Setup, Cleanup, and Prepare tables and restaurant service area Some equipment maintenance Clearing and cleaning tables Carry dishes to scrape station Thank guests for their visit and welcome them to return to the hotel Complete open and closing duties, including reporting tips and sales accurately into Restaurant Point of Sale System Other duties as-assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Present a crisp and polished appearance that is reflective of Gold Bison Grill Demonstrate a passionate commitment to the business Able to balance multiple tasks and priorities to serve guests during high or low volume periods Be honest, reliable, and timely Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance Strive to build and maintain good and productive relationships with all team members Possess a thorough understanding of local area, including attractions and directions EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Previous restaurant and/or hospitality experience is ideal. However, thorough training may be provided for outstanding candidates who lack previous professional experience.
