Key Responsibilities:
Follow all GMP, safety, and departmental procedures Responsible for implementing cleaning procedures on assigned equipment (i.e. clean, scrub, and sanitize plant equipment, overhead pipes, conveyors, floor, and walls using high pressure hose, and drying where required to restore sanitary conditions on a daily basis) Inspect area of responsibility to ensure proper cleaning of facility, machinery, and equipment Operate heavy machinery and industrial plant equipment (may include forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck) Report any damage to equipment to Maintenance department Assist in other department areas as needed Must maintain an attendance record with no more than a 5% absentee rate Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds (occasionally more); ability to bend, squat, and climb repeatedly for an entire shift; job requires extensive use of the hands for long periods of time; long periods of standing; ability to adapt to varying work environments, such as waste, debris, and cold or hot weather) Skills and Knowledge:
Communication skills (listen and provide constructive feedback) Attention to detail, be thorough, and complete all tasks/assignments in a timely manner Work under pressure and in a fast paced environment Ability to safely work around various cleaning chemicals Ability to work well as a team Follow all safety requirements Competencies:
