Sub Custodian

The Berlin-Boylston Regional schools is seeking candidates to be added to our sub custodian list. This position will serve as a on call basis needed for filling in at night 2:30pm - 11pm and days 6am - 2:30pm at our 3 schools in our district Participate in activities such as cleaning classrooms, emptying trash and recycle. Service, clean and supply restrooms, toilets, sinks floors and restock restrooms. Sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, polishing and making minor repairs and adjustments as required for the care of various kinds of floors, walls, windows, light fixtures, toilets, washbowls, furniture and other building furnishings and equipment. Participate in the activities required for the care and maintenance of the school grounds, including mowing of grass, edging, the sweeping of walks, and the removal of snow and ice. Gather and empty trash. Responsible for eliminating fire hazards and preventing accidents. Takes steps to address safety/security concerns and report as necessary. Other duties as assigned by the Facilities director or school Principal
