JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Sanitation Lead works with Sanitation Team Members and Sanitation Team Leads to maintain a clean work environment and operate all cleaning machines, equipment, or tools needed to achieve this purpose. The Senior Sanitation Lead gives direction to other team members to ensure understanding of proper operating procedures and safety protocols. The Senior Sanitation Lead ensures that Team Leads follow the specifications pre-set by Fuji's Quality Assurance Department to ensure that all products are manufactured in compliance with GMPs and applicable quality plans designed by the Company.

Ability to read and communicate verbally in English required. Ability to communicate verbally in Spanish is helpful. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Functions, Duties & Responsibilities)

Provide instruction and guidance to Team Members in how to perform their duties correctly. Maintain all work areas in a clean and organized manner. Assure that work practices comply with OSHA standards and guidelines. Follow all company rules and policies. Follow all safety rules and requirements. Perform post-operational sanitation procedure to include daily Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) analysis. Check designated cleaning machine (s) with Sanitation Supervisor before production start. Understand and follow the safe handling procedures of each chemical. Communicate with the sanitation supervisor about these before using any chemicals or sanitizer. Maintain the sanitation and cleanliness of cleaning machine(s) and food products. Conduct a visual check of designated machines for cleanliness, and sanitize the machine before using it. Must ensure that the machine is unplugged and inactive while conducting these checks with sanitation supervisor. Observe production staff to ensure they follow designated procedures (GMP's) for cleanliness and hygiene including use of PPE and hand washing. Where there is any question or doubt concerning operation of a machine, the Sanitation Team Lead must not permit a Team Member to operate the machine without further direction from a supervisor.
