We are seeking a Closing Supervisor to join our team!
The Closing Supervisor will supervise the Pre-Closer & Closer 1 sub teams. The supervisor will direct, assign, and supervise the work of the Pre-closers and Closers as well as assisting the Manager with training and procedure changes for productivity and efficiency. This position will report to the Closing & Post-Closing Manager.
WHAT You'll DO: Direct, assign, and supervise the work of mortgage loan pre-closers and loan closer 1s while following organizational and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate, timely closings that conform to regulatory requirements, underwriting guidelines, and lending procedures. Serve as point person for delivery of post-closing items as required by FHLB FHP Downpayment Assistance Program. Monitor pipeline queues of loans to ensure consistent workloads to attain acceptable turn times and excellent customer service. Ensure adequate staffing and coordinate employee training and development of PreClosers and Closer 1s. Assist Sr. Closers in assigned tasks to ensure accurate and timely closings and fundings. Assist Closing & Post-Closing Manager with developing and implementing procedure changes to improve efficiency and productivity. Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary. WHAT You'll NEED:
Associate degree in related field and 3 years equivalent related mortgage experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Strong commitment to our mission - creating economic opportunity for traditionally underserved communities. Preference for working in organizations that place priority on teamwork and collaboration. Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work and to work independently. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to lead, develop and motivate staff. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to provide highly responsive and accurate customer service. Understanding of mortgage concepts Strong technical aptitude including the ability to learn new systems and proficiency with Word and Excel. Familiarity with mortgage origination software is preferred.

Compensation : Competitive nonprofit compensation, based on experience, plus a generous benefits package. Compensation ranges for each position are based on local market rates and will be determined by geography, role, and experience.
