The Role Our client is seeking a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the implementation and enforcement of security policies, standards, and methodologies. You'll analyze threats, develop best practices for incident detection and vulnerability remediation, and maintain the operational security posture for information systems. This role also involves managing Configuration Management, maintaining accreditation documentation, and providing support to the ISSM.
What You'll Bring BS degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, including: 10 years of experience as an ISSO maintaining secure information system operations 5 years of experience using tools to support IAVA management and the preparation and maintenance of SSPs and other security documentation In-depth knowledge of and experience with security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools In-depth experience completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies Experience performing day-to-day security operations Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of self-initiative DoD 8570 compliance with IAT/IAM Level II or higher
Clearance Requirements TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required. We are not able to upgrade clearances or accept CCAs. Please note, you must have the required clearance for consideration; under-cleared applicants will not receive a response.
