Coffee Bar Supervisor Job Summary :
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
Coffee Bar Supervisor
to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role involves supervising staff, assisting customers at checkout, managing cash and credit transactions, educating guests on coffee selections, and preparing and serving beverages and food items. The supervisor will also be responsible for replenishing snacks and coolers, maintaining a clean and organized space, and upholding food safety standards. The ideal candidate brings prior supervisory experience in a café or hospitality setting, strong leadership skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment.
*Prior Barista experience preferred*
Essential Functions and Key Tasks:
Provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers
Operation of point of sale system; Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
Replenish snacks and stock coolers as needed
Maintain clean and orderly checkout and coffee kiosk areas and complete other general cleaning duties
Assist customers by providing information
Work with and take direction from the Chef Manager
Barista Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous cash handling experience Previous experience in food service/Barista environment Excellent customer service skills Team Player Must be dependable
