The Banquet Server plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests during weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings, decorations, and equipment. Greets guests upon arrival and provides excellent customer service throughout the event. Serves food and beverages in a professional and efficient manner, following established serving protocols. Monitors guest needs and promptly responds to requests or concerns. Clears tables and maintains cleanliness in the banquet area throughout the event. Works closely with the kitchen and event planning staff to ensure smooth execution of events. Adheres to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages. Assists with event breakdown and cleanup tasks as needed. Maintains a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times. Collaborates with team members to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
