Job Description: Providing on the floor support and participate in materials management activities across the Cell Therapy Facility, specifically focusing on patient material receipt and shipments.Operation: Execute daily tasks for material receipt and shipments according to the scheduleAdhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards in all material operationsMaintain a safe work environment in all areas where material operations activities occurCollaborate with cross-functional team members to solve work-related problems and perform routine activitiesIdentify and report any changes needed in documentation and equipment as part of continuous improvement effortsPartner with Cell Therapy Manufacturing & Quality to support the readiness for prompt receipt, inspection and start of processing for patient materialCoordinate, pack & ship materials to both domestic and international markets, including hazardous materialsAdhere to good manufacturing practices and standard operating proceduresSupport in maintaining material inventory accuracy using required systems and equipmentSupport process investigations & CAPAsProvide support and suggestions on special projects such as validation of Material Operations areasDocument & Work ReviewAssist in reviewing area documents, such as logbooks & worksheets.Review work throughout the work process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is requiredVerify SAP transactions of inventoried materials and their movements.Troubleshoot inventory/transaction errors.Operate in a GMP warehouse environment & gown into GMP clean room areasPerform material picking activities at heights of up to 25 ft with required fall protectionPerform activities as physical job, where employee may have to lift as much as 50 pounds and regularly bend reach & walk1/2 manufacturing and 1/2 supply chain logistics.Accepting patient materials, handing it off to manufacturing, responsible for pulling finished product, packaging it and shipping it offsite.Handling incoming/outgoing additional components, returns, or any other shipment requirements.Will be touching on domestic and international markets as the site grows. Qualifications :High school Diploma / GED.Additional post-secondary education resulting in an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline is preferredAn equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitutePreferred but not required: Certification in CPIM, CSCP, and/or CLTDProficiency in MS Office applicationsKnowledge of cGMP/Pharmaceutical regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSAP knowledge - inventory management/transactionalStrong Operational/Manufacturing SkillsEffectively communicate problem statements and escalate concernsPresent data and analyses in an organized, clear and concise mannerCoach less experienced group membersWork independently for extended periods of timeMinimum 4 years of experience in warehousing (preferably GMP) or performing material operations activitiesExperience working with production and ERP systems is highly preferred (SAP, MES etc)Experience with Liquid Nitrogen handling preferredPosition Handles Hazardous MaterialsA certain level of professionalism, care and consideration, ownership of the role, and the safety that is involved in the day-to-day activities.Awareness to spot deviations, be able to escalate, and good communications.Import/export experience a huge plus.
