Local Marketing Manager
Location: DMV Area | Reports to: Marketing
Position Overview
The Local Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving growth, client demand, and brand awareness across a multi-location veterinary clinic network. This role will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that encompass corporate partnerships, grassroots outreach, social media engagement, brand building, and alternative marketing channels. The position oversees a multidisciplinary team including creative, digital, community engagement, and brand marketing professionals.
Salary $80,000-$100,000
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to increase awareness and utilization of clinic services.
Build and maintain corporate partnerships to expand referral networks and community visibility.
Brand Development & Positioning
Lead brand strategy to strengthen market positioning and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Oversee creative direction for advertising, promotions, and clinic campaigns.
Leverage data-driven insights to refine messaging and enhance client engagement.
Marketing Channels & Campaigns
Drive integrated campaigns across digital, social media, grassroots, and nontraditional channels.
Oversee community events, sponsorships, and partnerships to boost local visibility.
Manage public relations efforts to enhance brand reputation and trust.
Lead and inspire a high-performing team across creative, digital, community engagement, and brand marketing functions.
Set clear objectives, provide ongoing coaching, and ensure accountability for results.
Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and measurable impact.
Performance & Analytics
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal ROI.
Provide regular reporting to the President and senior leadership on marketing performance, trends, and opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in multi-location consumer-facing businesses or healthcare/veterinary sectors.
Proven track record of developing high-impact campaigns that drive measurable growth.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Experience managing cross-functional marketing teams.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution style.
Creative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
