Marketing Account Management: Serve as the Marketing Account Manager, working with our creative team to oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials to our network of 40+ schools as well as internal departments and programs. This includes handling request intake, working with the client and Marketing Director to set strategy and direction for each project, writing copy and design briefs for our creative team, and managing file delivery and change requests.
School/Regional Office Training and Collaboration: Act as a strategic advisor to school and regional personnel, providing training and assistance with social media, email, and other marketing initiatives being run on a local level.
Email Marketing: Lead strategy, development, and optimization of email campaigns, including list segmentation, email copy and content, and campaign performance analysis.
Social Media: Develop and execute social media strategy for all Concept Schools channels, setting goals for growth and engagement, and overseeing content creation and distribution across channels. Will also build templates and strategies for social media managers operating accounts within our schools.
Reporting: Lead marketing analytics and reporting, providing actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and regular reports to leadership.
Other relative duties may be assigned
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
Minimum four to six (4-6) years experience in marketing and/or communications roles - Experience working in an agency, multi-location organization, or managing separate accounts/clients a huge plus
Experienced social media user who has owned and built a social media following (for an organization or a personal page) through consistent content creation
Deep understanding of popular social media platforms, trends, and digital communications strategies; willing to experiment with and learn best practices for new platforms
In-depth knowledge of social media and email metrics reporting
Experience running Meta and Google Ads
Strong knowledge of Canva, MailChimp, and Monday.com preferred
Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously
Proven ability to lead projects and deliver results
Experience developing strategic marketing plans and managing campaign budgets
Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail, ensuring smooth execution and distribution of marketing materials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for compelling storytelling
Strong proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and an avid follower of emerging social trends
Ability to analyze marketing metrics and optimize campaigns based on performance data
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with designers, leadership, and school-based staff
Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset, able to take initiative and work independently
Willingness to collaborate as a member of a small marketing team to triage time-sensitive requests and deliver high-quality work to colleagues and constituents
Creative-minded team player who is efficient, open to feedback, and has a sense of humor
Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
Assumes responsibility and ownership for work issues, problems, and performance
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills

Concept manages 40+ schools across the Midwest and supports the teaching and learning of 14,500 K-12 students.
Position Description
The Marketing Account Manager will help lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing and communications strategy for our growing network of over 40 public charter schools. The Marketing Account Manager will collaborate with leaders in our schools as well as members of our Marketing and Creative team to implement communications and marketing strategies that reinforce brand awareness, encourage engagement, and drive school enrollment. They will also take ownership of the Concept Schools social media channels and lead the content creation and strategy for these efforts, both paid and organic. This is an extremely dynamic position and a great opportunity for a marketer looking for opportunities to further develop their skills in many different mediums. The Marketing Account Manager will report to the Director of Marketing.
