Role Overview As our first Product Marketing Manager , you’ll be instrumental in defining how Serval communicates its product to the world. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution to position Serval as a category-defining leader in AI-driven IT support. You’ll collaborate closely with growth, product, and sales to craft compelling narratives and deliver content that shows customers why we matter.
We’re looking for someone who shares our obsession with quality, craft, and data. You’ll think from first principles to shape our product story, using both creative instinct and metrics to guide the way. From product launches to category creation, you’ll build the foundation of product marketing at Serval and set the tone for how we connect with and educate our customers.
What You’ll Do Own Product Positioning : Develop and refine messaging that clearly communicates Serval’s unique value, informed by customer insights and competitive analysis. We’re reimagining the ITSM, and you’ll help define this evolution.
Lead Launch Strategies : Plan and execute product launches, working closely with product, sales, and growth teams to align vision and maximize impact.
Drive Product Education : Create resources and strategies that empower users to understand, adopt, and maximize value from Serval’s platform.
Craft Compelling Narratives : Collaborate with growth and product teams to develop webpages, blogs, webinars, whitepapers, and social campaigns that amplify our product stories and attract new audiences.
Measure and Optimize : Own key product marketing metrics, track the effectiveness of campaigns, and continuously iterate to improve outcomes.
What You’ll Need 4–6+ years of B2B product marketing experience in a high-growth environment.
Exceptional Communication Skills : Ability to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives—both written and verbal.
Strategic + Hands-On Execution : You see the big picture yet love getting your hands dirty with content creation and campaign management.
Data-Driven Mindset : Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing initiatives, track performance, and make decisions backed by data.
Fast-Paced Adaptability : Proven success navigating the scrappiness of an early-stage startup and thriving in a dynamic environment.
Bonus Points Basic Design Skills (Figma) : Helpful for building your own collateral or visuals.
Video Content Creation : Ability to create or oversee engaging video campaigns.
AI Content Generation Tools : Familiarity with emerging AI-driven marketing and content platforms.
