Key Responsibilities

Secure Custody & Key Management

Design, implement, and maintain cryptographic key management systems aligned with institutional security practices.

Ensure secure storage, usage, and rotation of keys for blockchain transactions and smart contract interactions.

Provide guidance on custody best practices across decentralized applications.

Blockchain Infrastructure & Interoperability

Work with Canton-based blockchain infrastructure to ensure seamless interoperability with custody and transaction systems.

Support the integration of DFNS custody APIs into existing platforms and workflows.

Develop solutions that ensure compliance with financial-grade custody and security standards.

Transaction Security & Compliance

Enable secure, auditable transaction workflows for decentralized applications.

Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to align infrastructure with regulatory frameworks.

Conduct security assessments and implement improvements for custody-related processes.

Engineering Collaboration & Innovation

Partner with blockchain, backend, and DevOps engineers to integrate custody and security protocols.

Research and propose new tools, standards, and methodologies to improve system resilience.

Contribute to architecture reviews, threat modeling, and incident response planning.

Qualifications

Must Have:

Strong expertise in cryptography, secure custody, and key management systems.

Hands-on experience integrating custody APIs (preferably DFNS or similar solutions).

Knowledge of Canton-based blockchain infrastructure or equivalent enterprise blockchain frameworks.

Solid understanding of blockchain security principles, transaction signing, and custody compliance.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Rust, or Python.

Familiarity with institutional-grade security standards (HSMs, MPC, KMS solutions, ISO/PCI compliance).

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams.

Nice to Have:

Experience with multi-party computation (MPC) or threshold signature schemes (TSS).

Prior work in financial services, fintech, or regulated blockchain environments.

Knowledge of decentralized identity (DID) or interoperability standards.

Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
