Journeyman Electrician - Akron, Ohio - JOB 25-01324 Salary Range: $30.00 - $50.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits. Akron Area Company is seeking an Journeyman Electrician to troubleshoot electrical circuits, power distribution, and PLC / HMI controls on production machinery and facility to include: extruders, mills, mixers, and industrial lighting. REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate and electrician apprenticeship program completed Has completed an apprenticeship program and holds a journeyman card 1+ years' of industrial electrician experience Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480V industrial machinery circuits Experience installing Allen-Bradley PLCs, Human Machine Interface, and Control Networks Mechanical aptitude working with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and mechanical repair is a plus Good problem solving & troubleshooting skills. Must be able to work 5:50am-4pm Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., work in confined spaces, climb ladders and work from heights.
