ABOUT THE ROLE Cupertino Electric is seeking an experienced IBEW Electrical Foreman to lead electrical teams in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on large commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations on job sites, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Lead and supervise a team of Journeyman electricians, apprentices, and laborers on-site. Plan, organize, and assign work to ensure efficient use of labor and materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and OSHA safety regulations. Oversee the installation of electrical systems. Coordinate with other trades and project managers. Monitor job progress and resolve technical and personnel issues. Maintain detailed daily work reports and provide updates to the General Foreman or Superintendent. Troubleshoot electrical systems and direct the crew to implement repairs. Ensure that the team follows all safety protocols. Mentor and train apprentice electricians. Order and manage the necessary tools, equipment, and materials. Review and approve timecards. Maintain open communication with project management and clients. ABOUT YOU You have a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). You possess a proven ability to read blueprints and technical documents. Your demonstrated leadership skills enable you to manage and motivate teams effectively. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS IBEW Journeyman Electrician Certification required, Foreman experience preferred. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects. Certification in OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training. Proficiency with project management software. Ability to conduct crew evaluations and performance assessments. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, kneel, walk, and work in various physical conditions. Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs). Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. Must have reliable transportation to various job sites.
