Residential Electrician Job at Four Elements Electrical Contractin in King Georg

Four Elements Electric is seeking a highly motivated, Journeyman level, Residential Electrician. This position is a Lead role and will require the supervision of 1 or more apprentices while working to complete residential new construction and service projects. The majority of these projects will be located in the Fredericksburg, King George, Colonial Beach, and Northern Neck areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Knowledge of current Virginia Residential Electrical Codes
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Organizational skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Install electrical wiring systems to include: Romex, EMT conduit, MC Cable, Underground wiring, and others
• Install Service Equipment up to 600 amps
• Troubleshoot electrical issue and repair
• Work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work and maneuver in attics and crawlspaces
• Ability to work at heights over 20 feet

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience in a lead role performing residential electrical installations (Will be verified)
• Current Journeyman license or ability to pass a basic knowledge exam
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Reliable transportation to office/shop
• Ability to pass a basic background check
• Positive attitude
• Great work ethic and pride in workmanship
• Ability to learn and grow

Hourly pay range:

• $23 - $30
• Based on experience, work history, and licensure
