Anderson School District Three is seeking a dependable and motivated Custodian to join the team at Crescent High School. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Duties include daily cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, as well as assisting with minor maintenance tasks, event setup, and ensuring the overall upkeep of school facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean and maintain school facilities. Assist in cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas. Resupply toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and other supplies within the restrooms, offices, and classrooms. Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and cafeteria areas. Transport equipment and furniture; set up chairs and tables for events, as needed. Remove and dispose of trash and recycling regularly. Ensure all supplies are stored properly and that storage areas are clean and organized. Maintain and repair related equipment as needed. Participates in staff development programs. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Assist other custodians and school personnel as needed. Knowledge of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies, installation, and general custodial procedures. Good interpersonal and time management skills. Ability to follow directions and work with minimum supervision. Knowledge of proper safety procedures and protocol. Knowledge of proper lifting procedures. Use of computers for data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, and training purposes. Use mops, brooms, buffers, power tools, ladders, and other custodial and maintenance equipment, as needed. Qualifications
Valid state high school diploma Team player and willingness to work together and independently Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate and acceptable
Additional Information TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
250 days. Salary to be determined by the Custodial Salary Schedule established by the Anderson School District Three Board of Trustees.

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Principal with oversight from the Head Custodian.
