Position Overview:
This role oversees full
P&L and Balance Sheet (B/S) responsibilities
for the
Building Insulation (BI) Materials
business, reporting to the
Director of Finance for Insulation Systems (IS)
while supporting the
BI General Manager . The position provides financial leadership across commercial, operational, and manufacturing functions-driving pricing strategy, profitability analysis, cost optimization, and internal controls. Additionally, this role mentors and develops the
Operations Finance Manager, North American Plant Finance Managers, and Analysts , ensuring consistent financial processes and performance management across all plant operations. s a key leader within the
Finance organization of the company's largest division , the ideal candidate will make an immediate impact and have a clear pathway to advance to a
Director of Finance
role within one to three business units. Key Responsibilities: Financial Oversight
Full
P&L and Balance Sheet ownership
for the Building Insulation business. Oversee
sales incentive compensation programs , including tracking, reporting, and accounting. Manage
customer rebate programs , ensuring accurate tracking and financial compliance. Lead
gross-to-net revenue accounting
and analysis. Consolidate and drive
monthly, annual, and long-term financial forecasting, planning, and reporting . Commercial & Operational Controllership
Ensure
commercial and operational controllership , including rebate agreements and internal controls. Proactively monitor and
optimize financial performance
through disciplined ownership. Enhance
sales and profitability reporting
accuracy and insights. Support
Product Management
with financial analysis and reporting. Standardize
productivity tracking
and financial processes across plant sites (cost accounting, budgeting, inventory/product costing). Operational Leadership
Partner with the
SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) team
to optimize product mix and financial performance. Conduct
ctionable performance analysis
(pricing, cost controls, business strategy). Develop
consistent financial models
for operations, including capital investment analyses. Drive
process simplification
while ensuring
SOX compliance
and strong internal controls. Performance Metrics & Collaboration
Define and track
performance-based metrics
to drive business results. Collaborate closely with
IS Sales, Commercial, and Operations leadership
teams. Qualifications & Requirements: Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
(MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred). 12+ years of progressive financial management experience , including
5+ years in a financial leadership role . Key Skills & Competencies:
Operational & Commercial Finance Expertise : Strong background in manufacturing, cost accounting, and pricing strategy. Leadership & Talent Development : Proven ability to
lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams . Performance Improvement : Track record of
driving profitability, implementing controls, and optimizing processes . Decision Support & Modeling : Advanced financial modeling skills with experience in
operational finance and capital analysis . nalytical & Strategic Thinking : Strong
forecasting, budgeting, and problem-solving
capabilities. ERP & Systems Proficiency : Experience with
financial and operational ERP systems . dditional Requirements:
Moderate travel (11-29 days/year) . bility to
