Society Insurance is seeking an experienced Underwriting Technician to join our team in the geographic area of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. This position uses expertise to review documents and input data to rate insurance policies, calculate premiums, and generate policy documents according to company and departmental guidelines.
About the Role Review and rate commercial insurance applications to determine policy premiums using internal systems and guidelines. Enter data into the Policy Administration System (PAS) based on experience, training, and reference materials. Upload and organize policy and account documents in underwriting files. Document underwriting notes and assumptions accurately. Prepare policy endorsements using application details and system tools. Analyze state-specific coverages, limits, and underwriting criteria to support automated processing. Process policy changes, including cancellations, reinstatements, and non-renewals. About Yo

High school diploma or equivalent; proficiency with basic computer software, data entry, and spreadsheets. Strong business math skills, including calculating percentages, decimals, and invoice adjustments. 1+ year of policy rating or office experience; familiarity with Guidewire Policy Center is a plus. Knowledge in the Property & Casualty insurance industry and related business processes is preferred. What Society Can Offer
