Job Description

What you will be doing: Level II - Maintenance Technician (Electrical Systems Repair Technician)

Diagnose, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Integrate, indicate, or record data using electrical or electronic instruments. Work with variable speed AC and DC motor drives and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Inspect and troubleshoot electrical/electronic malfunctions as a team member/leader. Test faulty equipment and diagnose the cause of malfunctions using various tools. Replace defective components and wiring, adjusting mechanical parts using hand tools and a soldering iron. Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to specifications. Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests. Use computers for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and upgrading process control equipment and PLCs. Install, repair, maintain, and adjust various instruments and test equipment used for measuring and controlling variables. Instruct maintenance repair crews as necessary. Enter information into computers to copy programs or modify schematics. Operate production equipment for diagnostic and testing purposes. Experience you will need: Level II - Maintenance Technician (Electrical Systems Repair Technician) High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of industrial or related experience, or an Associate's Degree in electrical or mechanical-related curriculum. Willingness to operate and maintain a variety of operational units. Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime in a heavy industrial environment. Demonstrated ability to work safely as a team member. Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, pumps, piping, power transmission, lubrication, rigging, motors, electronics, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, computers, and PLCs. Pass the Ramsey Validated Super Trade Technician Main test. Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
