Summary/Objective:

The School of Philadelphia Ballet / New Jersey (SPB/NJ) is seeking a dedicated and organized Studio Manager to ensure the smooth daily operations of our New Jersey location. The Studio Manager will oversee class registration, communication with families and faculty, and the maintenance of a welcoming studio environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience in the performing arts, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service. A passion for the arts, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with staff and community partners are essential. The Studio Manager will collaborate with SPB staff to support student enrollment and bolster SPB/NJ's connections with its communities.

Essential Functions:

Administer class registration, payment processing, and data entry through SPB's registration software (JackRabbit) and data management software (AirTable). Serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents, faculty, and vendors at the SPB/NJ location, monitoring the school email account and providing timely responses. Act as the primary liaison with the property manager for maintenance, cleaning, and emergency response. Collaborate with SPB staff to develop and implement marketing initiatives for the SPB/NJ location. Ensure the lobby and studios remain clean, safe, and welcoming; coordinate trash collection, floor cleanings, and general upkeep. Oversee opening/closing procedures, key distribution, and adherence to operating protocols. Attend SPB staff meetings, providing updates on enrollment, events, and marketing initiatives. Administer auditions, open houses, and other school events hosted at SPB/NJ. Other job duties as required. Required Education & Experience:

2-3 years of relevant professional experience including: Prior experience working in performing arts environment; preferably ballet Experience in front-facing role with client/customer focus Experience in marketing and sales Experience in studio/facilities management Required Competencies:

Entrepreneurial skills. Self-motivated, strategic and energized about starting up a new business location. Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (docs, sheets, forms), JackRabbit, AirTable, and/or other scheduling software preferred. Attention to detail with excellent time management skills. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized and creative with deep enthusiasm for the arts. Ability to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships within a diverse and multicultural environment. Ability to balance priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to take appropriate steps to promote and enforce safe work practices within each area of responsibility in accordance with policies and protocols.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must provide satisfactory background checks and child abuse clearances as may be required for role.
