Position Summary:
As a Dining Room Server Assistant at Keeneland Hospitality, you play a key support role in delivering a high-quality dining experience to guests during Keeneland's live race meets and special events. You work closely with servers and dining room staff to maintain clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready tables while ensuring service flows smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to guest tables quickly and accurately. Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils, maintain cleanliness and organization of tables throughout service. Refill water glasses and respond to guest needs when appropriate. Keep service stations stocked, organized, and clean throughout your shift. Communicate effectively with front-of-house to help maintain consistent service. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and represent Keeneland's standards of excellence at all times. Qualifications and Requirements:
Be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions. Be comfortable working on your feet for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs. Have strong communication skills and work well as part of a team.. Be at least 16 years old. Licensing Requirements:
A valid Fayette County Food Handler's License is required for all food and beverage staff. Must be obtained prior to the first scheduled shift. A Kentucky Horse Racing Commission license is required for all track workers. This license will be provided to you on behalf of Keeneland upon hire.
