Job Description
The Visual Information & Graphic Designer shall analyze, design, develop, and produce visual and multimedia products to support human capital, training, and education programs. The graphic designer will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and accessible materials. The Graphic Designer shall have knowledge and experience with multimedia animation, motion graphics, and be proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite of applications and similar tools that are widely used to produce tasks in this PWS.
• Design and Development of Materials
• Ensure all human capital and talent development materials adhere to the agency's visual identity guidelines, promoting a cohesive and professional brand image.
• Update and maintain a library of design assets, including logos, color palettes, and typography guidelines, specific to human capital and talent development.
• Create visually appealing posters, brochures, infographics, and digital media content to support human capital program that align with the agency's brand guidelines.
• Develop branding materials for human capital events including signage, banners, and digital displays.
• Provide creative support for virtual events, including webcast visuals, interactive PDFs, and branded virtual backgrounds.
• Design certificates, awards, and other recognition.
• Provide design support for internal communications to enhance employee engagement and awareness of human capital initiatives. This will include the design of periodic newsletters, email templates, and intranet content, employee success stories, and upcoming training opportunities.
• Create visual content for internal campaigns focused on promoting or advancing human capital initiatives.
• Collaborate with learning professionals to design and produce training materials, including manuals, workbooks, and e-learning modules, that support training, education, and professional development.
• Create engaging presentations and videos that support training, education, and professional development.
• Generate creative and interactive designs for online learning platforms and mobile applications dedicated to employee training and development.
• Work closely with human capital leadership, learning professionals, and subject matter experts to identify design needs and provide creative solutions that enhance employee engagement and learning experiences.
• Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on design projects, incorporating feedback, and adjusting as necessary to meet project objectives and deadlines.
Job Requirements
Must have a Secret level security clearance Bachelor's Degree in Visual Information/Graphic Design or Related Field 7-10 years minimum applicable experience. DoD experience preferred
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee
to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in a standard office or conference room setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer.
To visit other company sites, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fly in an aircraft, both of which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Employees must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
