Job Summary
We seek a passionate HR Generalist dedicated to creating an exceptional employee experience. You will collaborate with HR colleagues and leadership to support all studios across HMC, working in areas such as compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, HRIS analytics, compliance, and employment law. Strong analytical, database, and influencing skills, along with a team-oriented mindset, are essential.

This role is based at HMC’s corporate office in Ontario, CA, requiring 3 days in-office and the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
  2. Generate HR reports to support audits, decision-making, and planning.
  3. Develop and maintain HR dashboards using Excel or Power BI.
  4. Coordinate interviews, orientations, training sessions, and HR meetings.
  5. Support recruitment efforts, including posting jobs and onboarding new hires.
  6. Assist in training initiatives, tracking attendance, and collecting feedback.
  7. Administer benefits and compensation programs, liaising with providers.
  8. Guide employees on HR policies and escalate complex issues.
  9. Participate in social committees and event planning.
  10. Support performance management processes.
  11. Assist with HR communications and policy updates.
  12. Ensure compliance with employment laws and update policies accordingly.
  13. Conduct onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews.
  14. Support HR audits and reporting requirements.
  15. Collaborate with payroll for employee changes and pay updates.
  16. Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency and satisfaction.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field; HR certification preferred.
  2. At least four years of HR experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
  3. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  4. Knowledge of databases and coding (SQL, HTML/CSS) preferred.
  5. Experience with analytics and data visualization tools like Power BI.
  6. Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Paylocity.
  7. Experience with employee engagement software.
  8. Skills in website and database editing.
  9. Excellent writing skills for employee communications.
  10. High emotional intelligence and professionalism.
  11. Understanding of California employment law.
  12. Attention to detail and quality of work.

The salary range for this position is $65,591 - $98,550. Actual salary will depend on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Compensation includes potential bonuses, stock options, benefits, and more.
