Job Title: Zero Trust Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Zero Trust Architect
to design and implement a Zero Trust security model across our enterprise infrastructure. This role will lead the transformation of traditional security postures to a context-aware, identity-driven, least-privilege access framework. The ideal candidate has deep experience in enterprise security architecture, strong familiarity with Zero Trust principles, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Define and implement a
Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
strategy aligned with organizational security goals and compliance requirements. Lead the
design and integration
of key Zero Trust components, including identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, continuous monitoring, and secure application access. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, networking, infrastructure, DevOps, application teams) to embed Zero Trust principles into infrastructure and workflows. Define security controls and data flows for critical assets and users. Develop architectural blueprints and roadmaps to support Zero Trust maturity phases (e.g., identity, device, network, app, and data trust pillars). Drive implementation of technologies including
MFA, SSO, PAM, CASB, EDR, microsegmentation, SD-WAN, and ZTNA . Integrate Zero Trust with SIEM/SOAR, NDR, EDR/XDR, and IAM platforms. Conduct gap assessments, risk analysis, and threat modeling in Zero Trust contexts. Ensure compliance with frameworks and standards such as
NIST 800-207 , CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model, and other regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, including 2-3 years specifically with Zero Trust implementations. Deep understanding of
Zero Trust frameworks
(e.g., NIST 800-207, Forrester ZTX, CISA). Experience with modern IAM systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping), network segmentation, and endpoint protection platforms. Strong knowledge of secure authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OIDC), encryption standards, and cloud security architectures. Hands-on experience in
cloud environments
(AWS, Azure, or GCP) with Zero Trust-related controls. Familiarity with enterprise-grade firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions. Preferred Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Zero Trust Strategist Certification
