Human Resources Director

As we continue to expand our house of brands and licenses, we are seeking an experienced and innovative HR Director to support our fast-growing team global business.

The Opportunity
At Maxima, we have built our business on hiring engaged, talented and passionate employees, and we’re looking for a human resources (HR) director to continue this tradition as we scale our operations both in the US and abroad. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic business partner (HRBP) and global HR leader, responsible for overseeing HR operations across multiple countries. This role will drive employee engagement, enhance operational efficiency, and maximize workforce morale. The HR Director will manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across all regions.
Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Act as a strategic partner to business leaders across China, US, Mexico, India, and Egypt.
- Strategic HR Leadership: Support the launch and workforce planning of the new factory in Egypt and Mexico.
- Strategic HR Leadership: Design and implement HR strategies that drive engagement, performance, and retention across all regions.
- Employee Engagement & Organizational Development: Develop programs to boost employee morale and enhance the employee experience globally.
- Employee Engagement & Organizational Development: Lead initiatives to foster a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals.
- Employee Engagement & Organizational Development: Provide coaching and guidance to managers on talent management, succession planning, and career development.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Enhance HR operational efficiency across all regions, identifying and implementing best practices.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Serve as the gatekeeper for legal compliance, ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies in each country.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Oversee employee relations, mediate conflicts, and recommend solutions to maintain a positive work environment.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Lead and mentor regional HR teams, ensuring consistency and alignment with global HR strategies.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Monitor HR metrics and reports to evaluate performance and guide decision-making.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Promote cross-national collaboration, sharing best practices and harmonizing processes where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR Director or HRBP roles.
- Proven experience managing cross-national teams.
- Experience working in international settings is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred.
- Bilingual capabilities in Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, or Chinese are a strong plus.
