We are in search of a dynamic Business Data Analyst with a robust background in data analytics, particularly within the healthcare sector. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting operational excellence by providing in-depth data-driven insights and fostering process automation. Full-time, Hybrid - 2 days in the Office, Richmond, VA Schedule:
Standard business hours with potential for overtime Job Responsibilities: Collaborate to document workflows, policies, procedures, processes, and report specifications as required. Oversee and manage reporting queues and requests, ensuring adherence to internal completion KPIs. Apply advanced data manipulation techniques to extract, transform, and validate data across diverse domains. Develop and maintain a portfolio of standardized reports catering to operational and developmental needs. Harness technology to architect innovative solutions aligning with organizational objectives. Distill and visualize complex datasets into meaningful reports and dashboards, focusing on acquisition and financial insights for executive, team leads, and end-users. Prepare, analyze, and present monthly Management Operating Reports (MORs). Engage in the creation of uncompensated care projections and perform variance analysis for accounts receivable and net revenue performance. Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate AR reporting at month-end and address potential anomalies. Engineer and support the generation of exception-based reports spanning all departments. Collaborate with management to translate business reporting requirements into actionable development initiatives. Assist in optimizing information management to enhance departmental efficiency and performance. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field; equivalent work experience may substitute for degree requirement. Demonstrated expertise in data analytics with 4-5 years of progressive experience, preferably within the healthcare domain. Proficiency in SQL and/or Business Objects query writing is advantageous. Advanced technical skills in data analytics tools such as SQL/SSMS, Power BI, or Tableau. Preferred but not mandatory:
Prior healthcare experience, especially in an acute care setting.
