Our Client, a Property and Casualty Insurance company, is looking for a Business Analyst II for their Chicago, IL/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities: Independently provide efficient, timely, and responsive professional service at the intermediate level. Frequently deliver or coordinate services, perform outreach, and work in a professional client or internal service or operational support role.
With strong communication skills and a good understanding of the role and business context, coordinate and deliver requirements documentation, test case development, and execution under indirect supervision.
Assist, coordinate, or lead parts of small/simple projects. Proactively identify needs, know when to escalate complex issues, and suggest simple process improvements.
Handle assignments of moderate size and complexity, resolve routine and non-routine problems, and prioritize work effectively. May perform a small part of a larger project independently and adapt methods to meet needs efficiently.
Requirements: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology, processes, and procedures, including understanding existing and future state processes.
Capable of understanding how new technologies interact with existing systems.
Strong prioritization and multitasking skills with minimal oversight.
Proven track record of meeting deadlines and milestones.
Accurate and thorough task completion.
Analytical skills and problem resolution abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, Gantt charts, and Visio for process flows.
Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience in the insurance industry and as a Business Analyst is preferred.
