Description

General Purpose of Position: Perform all required maintenance, repairs, and restorations to any and all equipment on and off site.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Inspect, analyze, test, measure, and repair all equipment as needed by Stingray.
2. Perform full or partial overhauls on any of the company owned equipment and identify repairs to be performed on rented equipment.
3. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
4. Clean and lubricate parts and equipment.
5. Test-run repaired equipment to ensure adequacy of repairs.
6. Manage inventory.

Additional Job Duties:

1. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
2. Provide leadership at all times through action and behavior.
3. Communicate any issues with equipment to management.
4. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
2. Knowledge of diesel engine and hydraulic systems including mechanical and electrical system components, injectors, pumps, alternators, and starters.
3. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time
4. Ability to lift up to 50lbs
5. Ability to work irregular hours and be on call at all times
6. Ability to effectively communicate and lead
7. Ability to successfully solve problems
8. Comply with all Stingray policies and procedures and all health and safety policies

Environment: Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.
