System Support Specialist II Hourly range: $20.00 - $26.20 Monthly Bonus Opportunity Toshiba America Business Solutions, a leader in digital technology, is seeking a Systems Support Specialist II supporting Toshiba clients in our Honolulu, HI office. Summary: Troubleshoot and resolve systems support problems (remotely and onsite). Provide complex systems support including but not limited to networks, interface, connectivity, adding workstations, installations, and upgrades. Support and train customers, providing instructional information. Seen as a Technical expert. Responsibilities: IT Help Desk Support: Troubleshoot and resolve systems support problems (remotely and onsite). Provide moderately complex systems support including networks, interfaces, connectivity, workstations, installations, and upgrades. Support and train customers. Gather call information for root cause analysis. Troubleshoot and resolve system problems efficiently and cost-effectively. Monitor systems and perform network site surveys. Document findings and advise management of issues. Work with customers and their IT personnel to resolve technical issues. Escalate unresolved problems following department procedures. Guide less experienced support specialists or technicians remotely or in the field. Ensure all parties are informed of new information or data releases. Stay informed of current technology through training, webinars, and research. Complete required company training. Prepare and submit paperwork accurately and timely. Assist in deploying software projects, including pre-sale, active, and post-sale activities. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum 3 years experience in networking systems, support, interfaces, connectivity, and related software. Knowledge of hardware and software industry. Experience with installation and upgrades of network systems/equipment. Proficient in Print Servers, LAN/WAN, and Networking technologies. At least 1 year experience with deployment and troubleshooting of print-related activities on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. Proficient in MFP technologies, including deployment, servicing, and maintenance. Knowledge of Toshiba MFP Platforms, including e-bridge, EBX, and EBN technologies. Preferred: experience with print management and advanced scanning solutions. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of MS Office, internet software, and troubleshooting customer issues. Customer service-oriented with good communication skills. Valid Driver's License.
