Overview Join to apply for the IT Specialist - Top Secret role at SiloSmashers, Inc. Responsibilities Provide IT technical, operational and management support to assist a government agency in the oversight of its IT infrastructure support contracts within its portfolio. Support the agency in managing, overseeing, directing, and assuring that contractor services meet the contracted performance requirements. Support researching, analyzing and drafting documents and work products for operations, portfolio, programmatic, contract-related and technical activities. Support objectives for implementing and managing an enterprise IT infrastructure that is stable, secure and maintains a high level of IT operations, using an interdisciplinary approach to analyze, design, manage, and measure complex systems and technologies in order to improve its efficiency, reliability, productivity, quality, and safety. Specifically, provide IT security compliance support services and support the agency in performing, managing and overseeing IT security compliance and operations. Identify where the configuration of a system does not adhere to the baseline security configuration requirements. Support the development and implementation of the Incident Management Plan. Monitor and report on security compliance operations during the transitioning out of one contractor's services and the transitioning in of another contractor. Qualifications Seven (5) years of IT experience Top Secret Clearance Education Bachelor's Degree in related IT field, or 8 years of experience Bachelor's Degree may be substituted with four (4) additional years of relevant IA experience Extensive experience in developing security architectures of cloud-based systems Extensive experience in mitigating security concerns of open source code applications Demonstrated experience in leading security team or departments SiloSmashers, Inc. is a strategy, technology, and management consulting firm, founded in 1992, and located in Herndon, Virginia.
