Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Parking Space & Traffic Flow Management

Guide guests into parking spots to maximize lot capacity and efficiency. Direct incoming vehicles efficiently to reduce congestion and maintain a smooth flow. Monitor entry and exit points to ensure organized traffic movement. Set up and maintain signage, cones, and lighting to clearly mark designated parking areas. Prepare and maintain the parking lot, ensuring cleanliness and order at all times. Monitor and control pedestrian and vehicle interactions to ensure guest safety. Maintain the flow of the parking lot by directing vehicles to enter and exit through proper locations.

Safety and Security

Remain alert for safety hazards or suspicious activity, reporting immediately to management. Assist security personnel in maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff. Respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, following established protocols. Ensure fire lanes and emergency access routes remain clear at all times. Help ensure all guests and staff can enjoy the event with peace of mind. Coordinate with management to manage overflow parking and emergency protocols. Collaborate with neighboring businesses whose parking lots are utilized.

Guest Interaction & Customer Service

Greet guests warmly, setting a positive tone for their experience. Answer parking-related and attraction-related questions, provide directions, and assist with mobility or special requests. Address and de-escalate guest concerns with professionalism when necessary. Support other departments as needed to ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Event Support

Assist with pre- and post-event lot setup, including placement of directional markers and cleanup of debris. Support event operations by ensuring the parking area is ready for guests before and after events.

Communication

Maintain constant communication with fellow attendants and event leadership via radios or designated methods. Clearly communicate with other parking attendants to coordinate parking operations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old to apply and work in this role. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety. Friendly demeanor, strong communication, and ability to stay calm under pressure. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, carry parking cones and signage, and work in outdoor conditions (rain, cold, snow, wind, darkness). Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Previous experience in parking, customer service, or event operations is a plus.
