Billing Lead
to oversee billing operations and support a small, dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced billing professional ready to take the next step in leadership, or someone with solid supervisory experience who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities for the Billing Lead: Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle team
Process, review, and follow up on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party claims
Analyze and resolve claim denials and discrepancies
Ensure accuracy of ICD-10, CPT, and diagnosis coding based on provider documentation
Train and mentor billing staff on best practices and workflow improvements
Coordinate updates and changes to billing codes with management
Review and manage accounts receivable, aging reports, and remittance postings
Oversee insurance eligibility verification and appeals processes
Ensure timely month-end close and reporting
Qualifications for the Billing Lead: Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired
2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in medical billing
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and medical billing procedures
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Passion for community health and improving patient access to care
