Position Overview:
Overall responsibility for the administrative management and oversight of the agency’s after school program site. The Program Director will serve as the lead professional and technical resource to the Agency at each site on after school programming and Department of Education issues.
Position Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor Degree in Education or related field and three (3) to five (5) years of proven after school experience; understands and has experience working with children and families in preventive, educational, or treatment settings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; public speaking skills are an advantage. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions. Candidate must be proficient in computer skills.
