Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) AB Staffing is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts for the 2025/2026 school year. Requirements: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a mental health-related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work (preferred). Certification as a BCBA in the state of California. Knowledge of emotional and behavioral disorders. Experience with instructional and behavioral intervention methods in a school setting (preferred). Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks, demonstrate initiative, and work effectively in a team. Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods, see and read printed and digital materials, hear and understand speech, and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. The position is contracted through the 2024/2025 school year, 35-40 hours per week, following the academic calendar. Job Duties: Participate in educational teams to support behavioral interventions for students with challenging behaviors. Support functional behavior assessments and lead the development and implementation of applied behavior analysis strategies, including pairing, natural environment teaching, and discrete trial training. Coordinate support between school and home to ensure comprehensive programming. Develop instructional materials, accommodations, modifications, assessments, and data collection tools. Collect and analyze behavior data to monitor progress. Collaborate with teams to develop behavior intervention and crisis plans. Provide social skills instruction using research-based methods and district curricula. Engage in professional development and team meetings.
