Staff/Accounts Payable Accountant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Staff/Accounts Payable Accountant at a healthcare organization in Woburn, MA, 01801.
The ideal candidate will have up to 2+ years of accounts payable/accounting experience within the healthcare industry (required).
This is a temporary role (6+ months) with an opportunity of becoming permanent and will pay up to $34.00 per hour (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
On-site 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile Accounts Payable Accounts and Bank Accounts
  • ACH/check/wire requests
  • Process invoices for various properties
  • General Ledger reconciliation
  • Journal and adjusting entries
  • Work with suppliers to resolve account discrepancies and payment issues
  • Assist with month-end close
  • Assist with financial reporting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree required, concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 2+ years of accounts payable/accounting experience within the healthcare industry (required)
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
