RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to the infrastructure that powers experimentation across product development. Essential Functions: Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product managers to enhance the experimentation platform Design, develop, and maintain systems that support experiment configuration and orchestration Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning Influence technical and product direction through thoughtful decision-making Continuously grow by working alongside experienced engineers and contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing REQUIREMENTS: 4-7 years of experience in software engineering Strong background in full-stack development, especially in building experimentation platforms Familiar with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation workflows Experienced in building scalable backend services and APIs Proficient in PHP, Python, or Java Skilled in MySQL or similar relational databases and effective data modeling Comfortable with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure), Git, and Linux-based environments Nice to Have: Experience contributing to experimentation platforms (not just using them) Self-starter with a delivery-focused mindset and pride in meeting deadlines Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring systems like Prometheus or Grafana Exposure to front-end technologies such as React Experience with data warehousing (e.g., BigQuery), ETL processes, and orchestration tools like Airflow The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
