Summary
The Warehouse Associate helps with everyday work in the warehouse. This includes receiving, packing, stocking, and sending out items. They report to the warehouse manager and help make sure daily tasks are finished on time. They follow safety rules and help keep the warehouse clean and organized. They may also use equipment and check that it is working properly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed:
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
Operates fork truck, powered pallet jack, manual pallet jack, dolly, etc., to move material throughout warehouse
Marks materials with identifying information as needed
Conveys and puts away parts in the appropriate locations within the warehouse shelves, bins, racks in accordance with predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, product code, etc.
Reads and interprets pick tickets, locates and picks parts, and distributes them within the facility or prepares them for outbound shipment as needed

Education and/ or Experience
Six months to one-year of related experience and/or training
