Pay Information $1,550 to $2,180 per week
About The Position This department is a 28 unit, serving the general surgical adult population and does have telemetry capability. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6
Job Duties:
Provides direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patients' discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Complexity of Work:
Within the scope of the job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
