Legal Administrative Assistant
$24.00 to $30.00 per hour
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Contract to Hire: 4 months, before potential consideration for conversion
Job Summary:
LHH is recruiting for a firm in the Raleigh area. Our client is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team supporting in the areas of Real Estate Development, Land Use & Condemnation, and Business Litigation. This is a mid-level opportunity ideal for candidates with 3+ years of law firm experience who are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrive in a collaborative, professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals
- Coordinate and manage multiple calendars, meetings, and deadlines
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Handle mail distribution, filings, and document processing
- Maintain organized case filesboth digital and physical
- Assist with billing, time entry, and expense tracking
- Conduct basic research and verify legal information
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal teams
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a law firm setting
- Familiarity with Real Estate Development, Land Use, or Business Litigation is preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience
Pay Details: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
