JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. In

this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough and

accurate inspections to ensure product, materials, and equipment meet

established quality standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1-2 years experience in a

similar role. Experience in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment

is preferred. High school diploma or equivalency (GED).

SKILLS: Proficient in reading tape measurements and blueprints

(skills tests will be administered). Good oral and written

communication skills, strong attention to detail, and basic computer

skills are also needed. Equipment used includes measuring tape,

calculator, calipers, micrometers, gauges, hi-pot test equipment, and

computer tablet.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Manufacturing position; spends more than 80% of

time standing, walking, and using hands. Handles items weighing up to

5 lbs. 1/3 to 2/3 of time. Occasionally lifts/positions items weighing

up to 40 lbs. while performing inspections (less than 1/3 of time).

Generally, requires clear color vision at close distances for reading

prints and tape measurements, checking wiring, etc. *

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Industrial manufacturing & metal fabrication

operation. Facility is enclosed and is ventilated and heated but is

not air-conditioned. 80% of time is spent near moving mechanical

equipment, in heat/high humidity.

The current work schedule is 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM MONDAY -THURSDAY, AND

5:30 AM - 3:30 PM ON FRIDAY. Some Saturday mornings may also be

required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Obtain and review necessary documentation (product design drawings,

quality procedure, etc.)

Inspect designated incoming parts and material and maintain

documentation of the same.

Perform product inspections at mandatory hold points on

manufacturing floor; verify dimensional accuracy and quality of

workmanship.

Check electrical phasing on all factory assembled systems.

Approve electrical test report documentation on finished product.

Reject non-conforming parts, material, and/or product in accordance

with established procedure.

SKILL TESTS WILL BE ADMINISTERED. This is a full-time position at our

plant located in Richland, Mississippi. Local candidates only,

please.
