Quality Inspector

Location: Milwaukie, OR

Responsibilities:
Inspect pumps and related systems for quality.
Visually inspect pumps, frames, motors, and electrical controls.
Ensure all parts are installed, connected and labeled properly.
Precision measuring and dimensional inspections using micrometers and calipers.
Reading blueprints.
Create inspections reports and document inspections.
Ensure tool calibrations are current.
Qualifications:
Must have experience in quality control within a manufacturing setting
Must have experience reading blueprints
Must have experience using precision measuring tools
Environment / Shift:
They take pumps that have been used in the semiconductor industry and cleans and refurbishes them.
It is a light industrial environment with the use of light chemicals in some departments.
Some machinery and equipment but more assembly and testing type environment.
Overall, it is a pretty clean and organized work environment.
Most departments are not noisy enough to require ear plugs.
Swing shift, 2:15pm-10:45pm, Monday-Friday.
