Koniag Information Technology Services (KITS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Systems Analyst with a Top Secret clearance to support our Army customer in Huntsville, Alabama. This on-site role will focus on business process improvement, technology adoption, and systems implementation for the Army Materiel Command (AMC). The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills with the ability to analyze, design, and implement IT systems that meet organizational requirements. This position requires on-site presence in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Description:
The Systems Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing IT systems to support AMC's business objectives and process improvement initiatives. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Analyze existing IT systems and infrastructure to identify areas for modernization and enhancement
Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Design system architectures and solutions encompassing software, hardware, and infrastructure components
Develop detailed system specifications and documentation
Implement new systems and technologies according to established requirements and timelines
Configure and customize systems to meet specific organizational needs
Conduct thorough testing to ensure solutions meet all technical and functional requirements
Manage system integration while minimizing disruption to existing operations
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
Create technical documentation for implemented systems and solutions
Provide technical guidance and support to end users during implementation and beyond
Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and optimizations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements
Ensure all solutions comply with Army regulations and security requirements
Education and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related technical field
2+ years of experience in systems analysis, technical implementation, or similar role
Experience with system design, configuration, and implementation
Familiarity with technical architecture principles and system integration
Experience working in complex IT environments
Top Secret Clearance
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of information systems and architecture
Experience with system analysis and design methodologies
Proficiency in evaluating and documenting technical requirements
Knowledge of database design and management
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Experience with system testing and quality assurance processes
Understanding of network infrastructure and system integration concepts
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in creating technical documentation and specifications
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
Willingness to work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama
Desired Skills and Competencies:
Experience working with Army or DoD customers
Knowledge of Army Materiel Command systems and infrastructure
Technical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, etc.)
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages
Experience with data migration and system conversion projects
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL, etc.)
Understanding of business intelligence and data analysis tools
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization
