We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to create 3D models and design sheet metal parts using SolidWorks. The role involves generating comprehensive manufacturing packages, including shop drawings and assembly instructions. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate designs and documentation.
Responsibilities
Create 3D models of equipment using SolidWorks.
Design sheet metal parts and components.
Develop manufacturing packages including shop drawings and assembly instructions.
Collaborate with the engineering team to produce accurate designs and documentation.
Manage, process, and update revisions, drawings, and bill of materials.
Exhibit mechanical aptitude with abstract thinking and reasoning skills.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
Experience in 2D and 3D CAD modeling.
Ability to create blueprints and drawings for manufacturing packages.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with sheet metal design is advantageous.
Work Environment
The role is embedded within a collaborative engineering team, emphasizing precision and creativity in design. The work environment includes using advanced CAD software and requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
