Warehouse Worker Job Description Location: Jersey City, NJ Overview: We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our supply chain operations by ensuring that products are handled, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and package outgoing orders for shipment to ensure they meet delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track all part movements within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies as needed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly.
  • Ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are adhered to while working in the warehouse.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor throughout the shift.
