Staff Accountant

Summary: The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial reports. The Staff Accountant will support the senior accounting team with day-to-day accounting tasks and contribute to the overall accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. Responsibilities include: maintaining the fixed asset register, performing monthly depreciation calculations, reconciling fixed asset accounts, reviewing capital expenditure requests, monitoring daily cash balances, performing monthly bank reconciliations, managing intercompany transactions, providing support for internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Desired Qualifications: Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field; strong attention to detail and accuracy; proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software preferred; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills: Accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, month end, accounts payable, journal entry, financial statement, accounts receivable, financial reporting, Gaap, balance sheet, cost accounting.

Experience Level: Intermediate Level

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
