Maintenance Electrician
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, including checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to prevent problems.
Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with operational requirements and safety procedures.
Visually inspect and test electrical machinery and equipment.
Dismantle, inspect, and replace defective electrical machinery parts.
Layout, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatuses, equipment, wiring, including panels and breakers.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial control systems, including instrumentation and power distribution equipment.
Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintain program documentation.
Examine work orders and communicate with equipment operators to detect equipment problems.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, schematics, engineering specifications, and work orders.
Apply electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, and principles of operation of electrical equipment.
Follow guidance from colleagues and assist junior colleagues with routine questions.
Adhere to safety rules including live panel permits, arc flash safety, NEC codes, and other electrical safety practices.
Follow company safety procedures and practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Work a 12-hour shift schedule (2, 2, 3) from 6am-6pm.
This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, Texas.
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
