Our client is a growing, privately held multi-entity automotive dealership based in the Buffalo-Niagara region. We are seeking a strategic and operationally focused Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team and help drive financial excellence and long-term growth.

Compensation
- Base pay range: $160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
- Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the President to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals and long-term growth initiatives.
- Act as a strategic partner to the President and General Manager, providing data-driven insights and guidance to support operational decision-making, business planning, and performance improvement.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all departments.
- Oversee accounting functions and lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and develop weekly cash flow forecasts across all entities.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial operations, streamline A/R management, and support scalability.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and all regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, insurance providers, and legal advisors.
- Review and negotiate significant contracts and expenditures.
- Stay current on financial regulations, economic trends, and automotive industry developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Experience in multi-entity retail sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead financial strategy in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
- Proven track record of improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
